# Placeholders

> List of PlaceholderAPI placeholders

These placeholders require [PlaceholderAPI](https://modrinth.com/plugin/placeholderapi).

- `%aurora_meta_<key>_int%` - The player's meta value for the given key as a whole number. `0` if it doesn't exist.
- `%aurora_meta_<key>_double%` - The player's meta value for the given key as a decimal number. `0.0` if it doesn't exist.
- `%aurora_meta_<key>_string%` - The player's meta value for the given key as text. Empty if it doesn't exist.
- `%aurora_lang_<key>%` - A value from the `custom` section of the player's language file, for example `%aurora_lang_npc.quests%`. See [Per player localization](../aurora/per-player-localization.md).
- `%aurora_color_<text>%` - Converts any color format (legacy `&` codes, hex colors and MiniMessage) in the text into legacy colors, so plugins that don't support MiniMessage can display it. You can use bracket placeholders inside, like `%aurora_color_<red>{player_name}%`.
- `%aurora_inregion_<region>%` - `true` if the player is inside the given WorldGuard region, otherwise `false`. Requires WorldGuard.
- `%aurora_lb_<board>_name_<position>%` - Name of the player on the given position of the leaderboard.
- `%aurora_lb_<board>_value_<position>%` - Raw value of the player on the given position of the leaderboard.
- `%aurora_lb_<board>_fvalue_<position>%` - Same as above, but formatted using the `number-format` options.
- `%aurora_lb_<board>_cvalue_<position>%` - Same as above, but formatted the way the plugin that owns the leaderboard wants it to be displayed.

Leaderboards are created by other Aurora plugins (for example quest pools in AuroraQuests), check their docs for the board names. If there is no player on the requested position, the `leaderboards.empty-placeholder` value from the [Main config](../aurora/main-config.md) is shown.
